Washington Alaskan Malamute Adoption League Foster Home Application Form

---------------------------

Thank you for your interest in fostering a WAMAL Malamute.

If accepted applicants will be asked to fill out and sign the officaial WAMAL Foster and Volunteer Agreements.

Please be patient. Someone will respond to your application as soon as a volunteer has been found to make a home visit. This may take a week or more. If you do not hear from us or from one of our volunteers within a week or two, please contact us.

If you do not hear from someone within a week, please contact us at our main email address for Wamal, but please be aware that this is an all volunteer organization and at times some things may take a while to arrange. :)

If you are not from WA State, please get in touch with your local rescue representative. WAMAL assists with adoptions in surrounding states, such as Idaho or Oregon, (sometimes Montana and California) but much farther than that presents far too many difficulties -- all of which would need to be coordinated by the local rescue representative anyway. Here is a link to our partner AMAL rescue affiliates in other states:
http://malamuterescue.org/rescue/listorg.html

In order to best serve you and to ensure a good match between your family and an available dog, please respond with the following information. (All information supplied, including email address, will be kept strictly confidential.)
Field names in red are required.

NOTE: This is the FOSTER HOME application. Applicants wishing to adopt should fill out the adoption application available here: http://wamal.com/adoptform.pl

Title :

Your E-Mail Address:
You might ask: Why does WAMAL want my email address?

WAMAL needs a valid email address to send you confirmation of your application as well as to assist you with your search. Email addresses are used solely for Malamute Rescue and are kept in the most strict of confidence. Please provide your email address in a form of:
{Username}@{domainname}.{domain type} Example: foo@foo.com
Please do not paste in a web URL as this will not work.
If you do not have email access, you can enter N/A but please be aware that rescue or adoption might take a lot longer and is far more difficult to arrange as the majority of all communications will be via email as rescue work often occurs at odd hours of the day and night when our volunteers are available.
