Shiloh

Shiloh, healthy again
Meet Shiloh!
My name is Shiloh and this is my story:
I was originally found in a high kill shelter and in terrible shape. I had been previously
STARVED and the shelter didn't have any expectations of my being able to be saved! An angel
of mercy, Bill, finally managed to convince the shelter to release me for rescue instead of being
put down. I was scheduled to be put down only minutes before, so I was literally plucked from the
jaws of death at the last minute. I only weighed about 40 lbs and had almost no fur. My skin had
that "black leather look" and I was covered with sores. I was so neglected that I also had a bad
odor (not a doggy odor) and a "greasy feel" to what little fur I still did have. All in all, a very
sad looking little guy. Since my foster mommy started taking care of me though, I've gained a lot
of my weight back, my coat is starting to come back in, and my sores are all gone. I even get
professional grooming to ensure my healthy skin, and my summer coat is looking like it's going to be
full, soft, and healthy!
From the moment I arrived at my foster mommy Susan's home I've been a perfect little man, loving and
gentle, grateful for all my hugs and kisses, as well as my gentle caring from my foster mommy. I've been
eating tons, including 2 extra cans of food, all the yummy kibble I can eat, and even getting a few
hotdogs with my coat supplement. :) Recently, I've been very quickly regaining my health and streangth,
and I have really blossomed! I was neutered a short while ago and even still am a happy boy that
just wants snuggles and love.
I'm now a very happy boy that needs a new forever home!
Well, that's my story. Thank you for reading about me. If you would like to meet me, just contact a WAMAL
representative and they will put you in touch with my foster mommy Sandra.
Hugs & Kisses,
Shiloh
