Subject: Timber
Many of you will not know of Timber. I was his foster house. Timber
bonded at once with all of us at home, including Lacey the wonderful dog of
the house. Timber loved Lacey and constantly licked her every chance he
got. There was no way to let him go as we love him way too much and just
had to adopt him for ourselves. This story has a very sad ending as Lacey
passed away about 3 weeks after we had gotten Timber and they had become
very close. After a few days of both of us mourning our loss we re-found
each other and he has become one of the best dogs I have ever owned ( I have
had 5 mal's off and on with my own and the rescue). We are learning new
tricks every day. He can now sit, lay and sit up. We are working on shake
and speak. He does love the little hot dog bites he gets when he perfects
his new tricks. He is quite the gentleman letting us know when it is time
to go outside as not to make a mess in the house. He has learned that the
counter top is his friend and that yummy food lives up there. When we are
not looking, or he thinks we are not, he will try to sneak food off and of
course nose around the garbage can as well. He is very gentle and fits
into our household perfectly. It is hard to think back to the day when he
was not part of our lives.
Thank you WAMAL
