Hey! Can you see me? Im asking because my name is Ghost! I am a young energetic mal and my ideal home would be with experienced dog owners whose kids were at least 10 years old. I may do best in a home with no small dogs or cats but would love a canine friend my size to play with. I take treats very gently and prefer the soft ones which will be good to use for our training sessions. I walk very well on leash and would also be a great running and hiking partner. I enjoy attention and will make a wonderful addition to an active family.

Volunteers are working with Ghost and we will have more information soon!

Java Jack is being lovingly sponsored by Eileen Rella. Thank you Eileen!

GOOD NEWS for Java Jack!

Jack has been in his foster home for a while now and is undergoing his treatment for heart-worm. Reports from the vet and his foster parents are that Jack is doing remarkably well.

Unfortunately due to his size and the complexity of his treatment the costs for treating him have increased substantially. We are asking for any financial donations to help Jack continue with his heart-worm therapy.

If you are interested in helping Jack please see the tab at the top of the page titled Donate. You can donate either through PayPal or by sending a check to the address listed on the website. Please annotate that your donation is specifically for Java Jack.

Currently Java Jack is NOT ready for adoption as it is critical he stays in his foster home until treatment is completed. We will update everyone on his progress and when he will be available.

Paws Crossed for a speedy recovery Java Jack!

LIVIA
Age: Young Adult
Weight: 82 Lbs
Gender: Female
Color: Gray/White
ID: W15-0212-AF2

SPONSORED!

Livia has been sponsored by Cheryl and Bill Papesh! Thank you!

Livia is house trained knows her basic commands of sit stay and down and walks very nicely on leash. Her current foster owner is impressed with her manners and says she is very easy to be around. She is the perfect house-dog. Livia is also a people-lover. No famous malamute aloofness here!Livia spent most of her former life with little attention in a small kennel and now that she has experienced the love and kindness of people she is unhappy without it. Therefore Livia would be best in a home with a couple or single person who has older (12 and up) or grown children and where someone stays or works at home most days.

Livia would not be a candidate for a home with other animals and she is not particularly enamored of strange dogs. She would be best in a rural home or one without a bunch of neighborhood dogs to bother her.She is fine with being on the other side of a fence from them as long as they ignore her. But she can be very reactive/aggressive toward dogs who show aggression toward her. So please be prepared and able to avoid most dog to dog interactions.

If you are looking for the perfect house companion and have a securely fenced yard and love malamute attention lavished on you whenever you are home Livia is your special girl.

Livia is being lovingly fostered by one of our wonderful volunteers.

If you are interested in meeting Livia or any of the beautiful Malamutes shown here please do not delay in filling out our online application. We will schedule your home visit asap.

Hi I am Ana a 9-year-old Siberian Husky! I was surrendered to the shelter when my family moved and could not take me with them. I came to the shelter with my brother Jack (45423) and would love to be adopted with him or on my own. My previous family said that I am a very sweet girl who likes to mother my loved ones. I love to camp and be outside when the weather is nice (I dislike the rain!) but prefer to sleep inside on a regular basis. I may have spay incontinence however my previous owners say it was very well controlled with supplements and a regular potty schedule. Do I sound like the perfect dog for you?

Hi my name is Jack! I am a handsome red Husky who is 8-9 years old. I was recently surrendered to the shelter because my owners were moving and unable to take me with them. I came here with my sister Ana and would love to be adopted with her but am OK being adopted on my own too. My previous owners said I was a big lap dog who loves to swim camp hike and go on walks! I also really love to cuddle and get belly rubs! I have lived with kids of all ages and a female dog. I was primarily outdoors but slept in the house at night and was rarely left on my own. I will need a fully fenced yard as I will wander if allowed. Do I sound like the dog you have been looking for?
