Just a note to let you know that Chako is officially a member of our
family. He's a wonderful dog, as you said, and we already love him a lot.
He's almost fully recovered from his surgery (tomorrow he gets his sutures
removed) and is eating well and "talking" a lot, especially as we get
ready to go on walks. He sure loves to walk around our neighborhood. We
haven't allowed him to run free yet, though we know he yearns to have that
freedom again. We're taking it slow with introducing him to our cat.
