WASHINGTON ALASKAN MALAMUTE ADOPTION LEAGUE - SAVING THE ALASKAN MALAMUTE

Its time for you to get your name on the list for Rocky! Here is an update from his foster mom. I cant stress enough what a good dog he is. He would be perfect for a slower family with older kids, cats and other pets. He has been around all sizes of dogs and likes them all. He is doing fabulous. He has hair growing back!! He continues to thin down and he is still loving life and fitting in great. He loves to play with the dogs. He still sleeps a lot, but is ready and willing if you want to do something. He minds so good. He just wants to please. He does not like his baths, but handles them like a champ. He has an amazing bladder and goes all night without potty breaks. He is just a good all around dog. Some family will be so lucky to have him. He has soooooo much love to give. A couple of his favorite things to do is sun bathe in the morning sun and then hang with someone on the patio in the afternoon shade. He isnt all over you he just want to sit by you and watch the goings on. He really does love those doggy beds. If he has to lay on the floor to be near you he will, but he really loves his beds. Oh yes, he is a Rock Star!! Or at least living like one.

Rocky has been taken in as a foster by one of our caring volunteers in Yakima. He is fitting in and loving life and he loves being an inside dog. Rocky loves any kind of affection offered, and really enjoys being around other dogs. He gets very excited when everyone is all outside or inside doing things. He prefers not to be alone, but does well with the other dogs in his foster home when the humans have to leave. He always sleeps in the same room with someone, usually in the bedroom on the floor, and thinks his dog bed is just da bomb! It will be awhile until his outsides are as pretty as his insides, but Rocky continues to improve.
